Highly recommend!!! This treasure hunt was so much fun!! If you like escape rooms, this one was on another level because you get to walk around the island and beach, eat and drink along the way, and enjoy great people! Dan, Jess, Ryan, and Anthony were wonderful and made our experience more memorable.

Great escape from the pool and beach We just got back from our treasure hunt and after being burned out by the pool and beaches for a while this is just what we needed! I am so glad we were able to find this online, Ryan and Ro were our guides for the adventure and I couldn't have asked for better hosts, within a few minutes we were talking like pirates and it just got funnier from there. Even though we didn't have small children in our party we had me and that is the equivalent, we were able to laugh and joke the whole time, even with the people at the museum and to me that is priceless! They offer other excursions like a kayak treasure hunt and a snorkel treasure hunt that we will definitely try on our next trip here, I wish we found this sooner. Anthony, the brains behind this, was attentive to our every need and communication along the way was top notch. I feel he will tailor a hunt for your group no matter what the age group or circumstances and that is what's missing from cookie cutter tourist traps, which this definitely is not! If you are looking for something different to do, this is it but just make sure to ask for Ryan and Ro if you have a great sense of humor like we do! Arrrrrrrr! P.S. you can only talk like a pirate over the walkie talkies so practice before you get here! Just kidding but it makes it a lot more fun

Informative and fun Great fun! Our group of 3 couples were able to find the clues and solve the puzzle to find the treasure. We started off at Bluebeards Castle with a lively bit of history and a close look at the real treasures that have been found near there. The view from the top was amazing. Then we followed the clues to drinks and then adventure on the kayak tour. We got out of the kayaks and walked through the mangroves to find a pirate and a few crabs and some scary characters. ( be sure you have applied loads of bug spray before getting in the kayaks) Next we took the van to our Secret location for pizza ( delicious) and another round of drinks before the search on the beach for buried treasure. The creepy ghostly pirates tried to keep us from stealing their treasure. And scared the p… out of me! It was a fun evening. It took over 6 hours , which was my only complaint. We were never bored, but it did take longer than I expected, making for a very late return to our boat

Pirate Life For Us! My family and I booked the Golden Age of Piracy tour for an afternoon. This was one of the more unique tours we have ever done. It was myself, my husband and our two boys - ages 6 & 8. The boys are still talking about how much fun they had days later. We met our super friendly, helpful & very patient guide Ryan. He handed us pirate swag, the tools and guidance and we were off. Exploring St. Thomas this way was so much fun, finding clues and trying to navigate - and solving riddles made our day. The pirate museum was phenomenal - I guarantee it’s one of your highlights of your trip if you go, it was so entertaining, educational and fun (and this is coming from a NY girl who has been to many exhibits and museums 🙂 … we solved the riddles, found clues, learned about the legend pirates on St. Thomas island and we eventually found the treasure! My family and I had such a great day. I highly recommend this tour for all age groups, it was one of the main key points in our family vacation. And a big thank you to Ryan, he was a gem!

Fun Island Adventure! My partner and I had a great time! The adventure was a lot of fun and our guide Ryan was very friendly. The Golden Age of Piracy adventure was one of the only ones we could do with just two people according to the website - but after we called the owner he let us know there were a few other options (like the augmented reality adventures) that they can do with two people.
The Golden Age of Piracy adventure is definitely easy, very good for families with little kids because it was more like a scavenger hunt than an escape room (very simple puzzles) - but my partner and I still had a blast! It was really cool to ride around the island with our guide, travel to different locations, and do some unique stuff (no spoilers!) that you can't do in a regular escape room. Our favorite part was going into the Pirate Museum.

Would highly recommend Tropical Treasure Hunt to anyone looking for something cool to do on St. Thomas! We hope to come back with more people and try The Salty Piracy Adventure!

Operation Mindfall A Big Win We had a great day exploring St Thomas in a fun & unique way. Anthony was a great “handler” and provided guidance, snacks, drinks & an all around great time.

Island treasure hunt was an absolute blast! We booked this this excursion as a way to see St. Thomas and have fun while on our cruise (Royal Caribbean Symphony of the Seas). Anthony and his team were fantastic. Even at the booking stage, we were concerned about booking a standard time because our ship was coming in later than expected, so they shifted the time back an hour for us. We were met right at the port with transportation to our next location and given very clear directions. We're a family of four, two kids ages 9 and 12. The kids had a lot of fun with the secret agent messages and the older kid had a great time working out the puzzles. There was a lot to do for each person.
My favorite part was seeing so much of the island, and getting introduced to some fun places I definitely want to go back to! At the end, we had a great time relaxing on the beach and had plenty of time before we were taken back to the port to meet our ship.
Honestly, one of the most unique things I've ever done on a vacation - and so great to include the whole family. We had a blast!

Amazing Experience! We did the Operation Mindfall Secret Agent Treasure Hunt, with Ryan as our guide. It was incredibly fun and a great way to get around the island! The puzzles were novel, with lots of cool augmented and physical technology that was used to solve each step.
Would 100% recommend and would definitely do again on a future trip!

Piracy at it's finest We did the Salty Pirate Adventure. Anthony, the owner/operator/all around good fella, assisted us through the selection, planning and the execution of this Adventure Scott, our boat Capt. Was great and Anne Bonny (spoiler) was fantastic. These people love their jobs and it shows. This is Amazing race/escape room/geo cache/pirate scavenger hunt. This is crazy awesome from start to finish. The planning it took for this is insane. This adventure was priceless. Without giving anything away you go to 3 different locations to snorkel, snacks, drinks, and lunch are provided and a full day of REAL adventure. Do not miss this.
