We recently celebrated our first full year in business and we can’t thank YOU enough for supporting The Tropical Treasure Hunt Co.! Our clients mean the world to us since you are the reason we exist. I wanted to take a moment to share some thoughts on The Tropical Treasure Hunt Co. in 2019 and what to expect in 2020!

To put it simply, 2019 was an adventure! Yes, 2019 will be a year we will never forget. It will be remembered as the year my partner Angela, and I set sail for the unknown and discovered our calling, creating memorable adventures that bring people together. Growing this startup has been the most challenging yet rewarding endeavor of my life.

This year our business had the pleasure of playing an integral part in helping hundreds and hundreds of clients celebrate memorable anniversaries, birthdays, as well as employee engagement celebrations, to name a few special events. We had the honor to be trusted by families from the territory and those visiting for the first time, to create custom experiences for family reunions. Nonprofits and for-profit businesses chose us to help them bring them closer by sharing a memorable day of team building. We have embraced our local community and they have embraced us right back. Local businesses have partnered with us to help create more robust treasure hunt packages and experiences. In October we had the amazing opportunity to partner with Patient Assist VI (PAVI) and Cancer Support Virgin Islands (CSVI) to create a fresh take on fundraising with Hunt for A Cure. The event took generous donors on an island-wide treasure hunt where teams competed in various challenges, which ultimately helped raise thousands for the two wonderful causes.

Throughout this year we benefited immensely from listening to our clients whether it was in real time during a client’s Tropical Treasure Hunt, or through feedback on TripAdvisor, Instagram, Facebook, etc. We have acted upon many of those ideas you have shared with us. We welcome your ideas and feedback anytime you are willing to share them (both positives and opportunities). Two of the most consistent feedback messages we receive is that our experience is original and high quality.

You can expect the Tropical Treasure Hunt to continue to innovate our services. Our number one value will always be World Class Quality. We relentlessly pursue and invest in creating an immersive high-quality experience that our clients will remember for years to come. You can be assured that in 2020 we will continue to prioritize quality and innovation. For example, we are investing and testing an augmented reality technology to offer something completely unique to the U.S. Virgin Islands.
